9th Annual Gala Raised Over $3.9 Million

Delete Blood Cancer held its ninth annual gala at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City in April. Co-chaired by COTY, the event set new records as they raised over $3.9 million that will go towards registering over 45,000 new donors.

TV personality Randy Jackson emceed the gala and international superstar, KESHA, gave a special performance to a packed house. Celebrities like Supermodel Georgia May Jagger, Olivia Palermo, Derek Lam, and singer Lily Lane, donated their star power to bring attention to the cause.

COTY and Delete Blood Cancer work together to inspire as many people as possible to register as bone marrow donors so more patients are given a second chance at life.

There wasn’t a dry eye in the room during a miracle moment, when seven-year-old Kaleb Dummer was introduced, for the first time, to Cole Kennedy (22), the unrelated donor who saved his life.
