Our motto at COTY is ‘Faster. Further. Freer’ which are not superficial words on our website or taught at induction. We live and breathe these values every day through the ability to make fast and effective decisions, opportunities to think outside the box, and develop innovative ideas and ways of working to achieve success.

  1. What does creativity mean to you? How do you define it?
Creativity for me is all about turning ideas into reality through self-expression; using your imagination and unique thought processes to develop a solution to a problem or opportunity.
  2. What inspires you to be creative?
I draw a lot of creative inspiration through people around me. My friends, family and colleagues play a pivotal role in my life.
  3. What aspect of creativity at COTY do you like?
Some HR roles are traditionally very black and white, structured and process driven, however at COTY I have been provided with many opportunities to work on projects which allow me to develop and drive my own creative ideas. It is very rewarding seeing these come to life.
Our motto at COTY is ‘Faster. Further. Freer’ which are not superficial words on our website or taught at induction. We live and breathe these values every day through the ability to make fast and effective decisions, opportunities to think outside the box, and develop innovative ideas and ways of working to achieve success.
  4. What COTY fragrance do you wear?
Currently, I wear the new Roberto Cavalli Paradiso fragrance. Daisy Marc Jacobs and Chloé are also a couple of my favorites.
  5. Your skincare must have:
I love the philosophy ‘renewed hope in a jar eye cream’ and ‘when hope is not enough serum’; both products leave my skin feeling really hydrated and soft.
  6. A brand you admire:
Aston Martin, I think the brand has been so well established that the luxury and prestige speaks for itself.
  7. Which do you prefer: Lip - stick / gloss / balm / bare
Definitely lipstick which I wear pretty much every day along with lip liner for added definition.  I’m also a fan of a bold red or orange lip.
  8. What was your first job ever?
I was 14 and landed an after school job at New Zealand Natural ice cream and juice bar at the local shopping center. My smoothie making abilities still serve me well to this day!
  9. Fill in the blank: Always ,Always, Always
    trust your instincts.
  10. Fill in the blank: Never, Never, Never
hold grudges, life is way too short!
  11. My rule of thumb for
Meetings: Conclude the meeting by summarizing the action points moving forward for each attendee. I think it’s very beneficial for everyone to be aware of what is required from their end moving forward.
Travel: Always pack a spare change of clothes in your carry on.
  12. Energy of choice:
I exercise daily so some cardio, resistance training or a Pilates class does wonders for my mood and energy levels. I love a morning gym session before work to kick start my day.
  13. Guilty Pleasure:
Papa’s baked ricotta cheesecake which is my favorite dessert!
  14. Fav (local) restaurant:
Sake at Double Bay in Sydney - Japanese cuisine with a twist.
  15. Fav vacation spot:
So far I would say Maya Bay, Thailand which was absolutely incredible! I have always dreamed of travelling to Zakynthos in Greece as well.
  16. One golden piece of advice:
In order for us to achieve our dreams, we must have a vision of our goals.
  17. Greatest lesson learned:
If it is meant to be, it will be.
  18. Fav mantra/motto:
‘What we think, we become’ – the power of positive thinking.
  19. Favorite movie:
    Crazy, Stupid, Love
  20. If you visit only one website a day, what is it?
My favorite app is Instagram, but I use Facebook daily to chat and share updates with friends and family overseas.
